HANOVER, N.H. – The location of Saturday's Dartmouth men's heavyweight rowing season opener has been moved from Boston to the Big Green's home venue in Hanover on the Connecticut River. Dartmouth will still face Holy Cross and MIT to kick off its spring season.
"We are excited to be getting in an early season race on our home course, and appreciate Holy Cross and MIT being flexible and willing to travel to us last minute to do so," said
Wyatt Allen, Betsy and Mark Gates 1959 Head Coach of Men's Heavyweight Rowing. "Hopefully, the forecast holds and we are able to take advantage of the sheltered nature of our stretch of the Connecticut."
Racing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with the Varsity Eight, followed by the 2V at 10:20, 3V at 10:40 and 4V at 11 a.m.
