STORRS, Conn. — The Dartmouth men's track and field competed at the UConn Dog Fight on Saturday in its lone meet of the weekend.

The Big Green got off to a strong start as
Jason Wang and
Jason Norris took first and second in the 3000m steeplechase. Wang finished the race in 9:21.89 while Norris finished with a personal best time of 9:25.97.

David Appleton,
J'Voughnn Blake, and
Mason Childers all finished fourth in their respective races. Appleton finished with a time of 3:56.32 in the 1500m race. Blake ran the 400m dash in 49.06 seconds while Childers competed in the 800m run, finishing with a PR of 1:52.72. Blake is eighth on the Ivy League performance list in the event while Childers is 10
th for the 800m.

Liam Murray finished the 200m dash with a personal best time of 21.76 seconds, putting him ninth on the Ivy League performance list, and
Alexander Craig claimed sixth in the 3000m run with a time of 9:14.18.

Over in the throws,
Michael Gabriel smashed his previous PR in the hammer throw, throwing for a new mark of 60.74m to take second in the event.

Colton McMaster took seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.32m while taking eighth in the discus throw with a mark of 45.81m.

Rahul Batlanki excelled in the jumps, taking second in the long jump (6.98m) and fourth in the triple jump (14.36m). Batlanki's mark in the long jump is third in the Ivy League.
