Slalom postponed due to icing on the lift
STOWE, VT. — Friday's slalom at the Vermont Carnival has been postponed due to icing on the lift. The carnival is set to continue Saturday with the giant slalom.
The points earned from the giant slalom will be doubled, wrapping up the Vermont Carnival. The slalom is rescheduled to Burke Mountain in Vermont for next Sunday, Feb. 4. It will be an NCAA Qualifier event.
At the conclusion of the Vermont Carnival Nordic events held earlier this month, the Big Green lead by more than 100 points, with 490 to their credit and Middlebury in second with 385.
