Moore and Capuano Advance To Regional Semifinals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano advanced to the ITA New England Regional Doubles Semifinals as Moore also advanced to the singles semifinals.

Moore opened the day in singles as she took on Phoebe Peus of Brown. Moore won the first set 6-4 but fell in the second set 7-5. She punched her ticket to the semifinals with a 6-2 win in the third set. She will face Serafima Shastova of Syracuse in the semifinals.

The duo of Moore and Capuano punched their ticket to the doubles quarterfinals with an 8-5 win over a team from Boston College. Later in the day, Moore and Capuano faced Sage Loudon and Hoi Ki Jenny Wong of Cornell. The Dartmouth duo took care of business in the quarterfinals with another 8-5 win. On Monday, they will face Peus and Lindsey Hofflander of Brown.

Lexi Dewire and Elizabeth Fahrmeier saw their run in doubles come to an end in the round of 16 as they fell to a team from Boston College 8-6.

Moore will play singles on Monday prior to the start of double. Following the conclusion of singles, doubles will be played.
