BURLINGTON, N.C. – The Dartmouth men's golf team sits 16th out of 18 teams after a windy first day of competition at the Elon Phoenix Invitational. UNC-Greensboro is in first place, East Carolina is in second and Middle Tennessee State rounds out the top three.

In the first round, Colin Keith shot even par at 71 and in the second he shot a 73 (+2) for a total of 144 (+2) and he sits tied for 25th.

Tyler Brand shot a 72 (+1) followed by a 76 (+5) to be tied in 62nd at 148. Finlay Szafnauer also sits tied for 62nd through the first day of competition with a 148, 76 (+5) and 72 (+1).
