Moore and Capuano To Play For Regional Championship On Tuesday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Peyton Capuano and Michela Moore advanced to the ITA New England Regional doubles final on Monday.
The duo squared off with Phoebe Peus and Lindsey Hofflander of Brown in a best of three match in the semifinals. The Dartmouth duo fell in the opening set 7-6 but rebounded with 6-3 win in the second set. In the winner take all third set Capuano and Moore won 10-7 to advance to the regional final. In the finals they will take on Stephanie Yakoff and Kavya Karra of Harvard.
Moore opened the day in singles and saw her quest for a regional championship come to an end in the regional semifinals. Moore lost a pair of back and forth sets 6-4, 6-3 in the regional semifinals.
The doubles final will take place on Tuesday morning following the conclusion of the singles final. Moore will opened the day in the third place singles match at 10:30 a.m.
