Moore and Capuano Fall In Regional Final

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano played in the ITA New England Region doubles tournament final on Tuesday.
The Dartmouth duo took on Stephanie Yakoff and Kavya Karra of Harvard in the final. Moore and Capuano fell 6-4 in the opening set but responded in the second set with a 6-2 win. The tiebreaking set was a back and forth set with each team battling. Harvard prevailed in the end by winning the set 10-6.
On Oct. 29, the ITA will announce the draw for ITA Sectionals that will take place starting on Nov. 7 and concluding on Nov. 11.
As a team, the Big Green travel to Providence, RI to compete in the Brown Invite starting on Friday, Oct. 18.
