Big Green Open Brown Invite Against Rutgers

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The Dartmouth women's tennis team opened the Brown Invite on Friday with three doubles matches and seven singles matches against Rutgers.
Sam Grosjean and Elise Wong won the lone doubles match against the Scarlet Knights. They played in the second doubles position and won 6-3 to open the weekend.
Both Wong and Grosjean brought momentum into their singles matches as they completed a 2-0 day each. Wong won her match in convincing fashion 6-4, 6-1.
Grosjean won the opening set of her singles match 6-2. In the second set she played a back and forth set but eventually won the match with a 7-5 set win.
Lauren Han also secured a two set win in singles. She won the opening set 6-4 and completed the sweep in the second set with another 6-4 win.
The Big Green are back in action on Saturday as they continue the Brown Invite.
