Tyler Brand Named Ivy League Golfer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. – Tyler Brand has been named the Ivy League Golfer of the Month, the league office announced on Wednesday. This is the sophomore's first Golfer of the Month accolade of his career.

Brand finished in first place at the Columbia Autumn Invitational (Sept. 28 – Sept. 29) after shooting -17 (64, 66, 66) in Lake Placid. His performance led the Big Green to a runner up finish in the tournament. Brand's mark of 64 also set a tournament record for the Columbia Autumn Invite.

At the Temple Invitational (Sept. 21 – Sept. 22) Brand finished tied for 3rd out of 66 golfers after shooting 141 (+1) throughout the two-day tourney.

The Big Green are back on the course at the Elon Phoenix Invitational Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 in Burlington, N.C.
