ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth College women's swim team took home their first Ivy League win since the team's reinstatement to Dartmouth this evening as they defeated Cornell 159-141. This marks Head Coach
Milana Socha's first Ivy win as head coach for the Big Green.
Â
"This was a huge win for our women because it took everyone stepping up to find a way to win or score one point in their event. They started the meet fired up from our diver results yesterday and leaned into creating a special atmosphere on deck. Coming off a hard training block with final exams beginning next week, they were able to stay present and keep up the fight with both Cornell and Harvard all the way till the very end. I think they learned some valuable lessons about how much power they have to control their energy and outlook in a meet, and I can't wait to see where that realization and confidence can take us. This is only the beginning," said Socha.
