WACO, TX—The National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) announced the single discipline rankings on Tuesday afternoon. For the first time in program history, Dartmouth has been ranked first in the rankings.
The Big Green were ranked third last week and defeated No. 2 Charleston on Saturday morning at Morton Farm for its third consecutive win of the 2024-25 season.
Dartmouth opened the season with an 8-2 win over No. 5 Sewanee. On Oct. 26, the Big Green defeated Sacred Heart 6-4 on the road.
Head Coach and Director of Riding Tenley Walsh is proud of the program but knows there are more goals in sight for this season. "We have a lot of goals left for this season, but I'm happy that our riders are getting the recognition they've earned. We know our best riding is still ahead of us and we are looking forward to finishing our fall schedule on a strong note."
The Big Green close out the fall portion of their schedule on Sunday, Nov. 10 as Sacred Heart travels to Hanover.
