Moore and Capuano Advance In ITA East Sectional

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano opened the ITA East Sectional Championship on Thursday afternoon.
The duo faced off a team from Virginia Tech in the opening round of the doubles tournament. After falling 6-4 in the opening set, the duo won the second set 7-6. In the tiebreaker, the Dartmouth duo won 10-7 to move on to the second round. On Friday, the team faces a team from Duke.
In the singles match, Moore fell in straight sets to Susanna Maltby from North Carolina.
The duo is back in action on Friday with the doubles match slated for a 1:30 p.m. start.
