HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth head men's lacrosse coach
Sean Kirwan announced the Big Green's 2025 schedule on Friday, which includes 13 regular season games — eight home and five on the road. Dartmouth opens its season at home against Bucknell on Saturday, Feb. 15, with its Ivy League opener set for five weeks later at Penn.
A busy start to the season sees four games in the first 14 days. After welcoming the Bison to kick off 2025, Dartmouth travels down the road to UMass on Tuesday, Feb. 18 for its first game against the Minutemen since 1991.
The Big Green schedule continues on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Holy Cross before hosting interstate rival Vermont six days later on Friday, the 28th. Last season, Dartmouth picked up a hard-fought 11-10 victory on the road against UVM as the Catamounts went on to advance to the America East Championship Game.
Two days after facing Vermont, Dartmouth hosts Siena on Sunday, Mar. 2, then welcomes reigning NCAA Tournament qualifier Utah on Saturday, Mar. 8. The Utes finished 2024 with a 12-5 record, including 8-1 in the Atlantic Sun, beating Jacksonville in the championship game.
Nonleague play closes for the Big Green with a home matchup against Hobart on Saturday, Mar. 15.
The Ivy League slate begins in the City of Brotherly Love, at Penn on Saturday, Mar. 22. The next two Saturdays are in Hanover, as the Big Green face Princeton (Mar. 29) and Harvard (Apr. 5).
Dartmouth wraps up April, and the regular season, with Saturday matchups at Yale (Apr. 12), against Brown (Apr. 19) and at Cornell (Apr. 26).
The Ivy League Tournament is set for the weekend of May 2 and 4 at the regular season champion and No. 1 seed. The top four seeds at the end of the season advance to the conference tournament.
