HANOVER, N.H. — The 12th ranked Dartmouth men's squash team gave No. 6 Virginia all that it could handle on Saturday at the Berry Squash Courts. Senior
Mac Aube was victorious at the No. 1 position to pull the Big Green even at two, as Dartmouth was in the midst of two very close matches at Nos. 6 and 9, but the Cavaliers won both and went on to the 6-3 victory.
In the end, Dartmouth's wins came at the Nos. 1, 2 and 4 positions.
Senior
Quintin Campbell was first in the win column for the Big Green, taking care of business in three games — 11-9, 11-7, 11-8. Aube won at the top position, 3-2. He won the first two games, then bounced back to win the fifth, 11-5.
Right after Aube's victory, two positions that took over an hour to finish were in the latter stages. In the end, first-year Brandon Wong lost 3-1 while junior
Warren Klein fell 3-2.
Senior
Christian Shah also picked up a victory at the No. 2 position, 3-1 (11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 11-7).
Dartmouth will return to action after the New Year, traveling to Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 11 to face the Big Red.
