Men’s Swimming and Diving Kicks Off Boston Winter Open

Yan Dvoretskiy’s second-place finish in the 200 IM highlighted Friday’s action
BOSTON — The Boston Winter Open, featuring a limited number of athletes from the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team, began Friday at Boston University and five Big Green men were in action.
Yan Dvoretskiy placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.65. Kevin Ren and Grant Dator also competed in the event, placing 12th and 13th respectively. Tim Park led the Big Green in the 50 free (21.09) and was followed by Dvoretskiy and Eddy Chen.
Saturday is the final day of the Boston Winter Open, and Big Green divers will also be in action at nearby Northeastern. Ivy League Championships begin Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Harvard.
