Big Green Finish Weekend in Boston, Prepare for Ivy League Championships

Elizabeth Ann Stromberger and Hayden Barry competed at Boston University
BOSTON — Wrapping up the Boston Winter Open, hosted by Boston University, Elizabeth Ann Stromberger and Hayden Barry were in action for the Big Green again on Saturday. Divers competed at the Northeastern Diving Invitational.

Barry finished fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 5:00.05 and was sixth in the 1650 free at 18:50.02. Stromberger placed 11th in the 100 free (52.77) and 13th in the 100 fly (58.04).

Marggie Lambdin placed third on the 3-meter board to lead the Big Green with a score of 287.10. Alyssa Palacios followed in fourth at 280.90. Lambdin was second on the 1-meter board (298.45) and Palacios was third (283.40).

The Ivy League Championships are quickly approaching, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Brown. The four-day event runs through Saturday, Feb. 24.
