SAVANNAH, Ga. – In the third and final round of The Savannah Intercollegiate on Sunday, sophomore
Fin Szafnauer carded a 4-over par (76) for the Dartmouth men's golf team's best score on the day. The Big Green finished +26 on Sunday to wrap up the tournament, taking 13
th as a team.
North Alabama won the tournament after shooting 3-under par in the final round and 16-under par for the weekend. Harvard took second after finishing at 2-under par for the tournament.
Szafnauer birdied twice on the front nine and finished with 10 pars for the round.
Sophomore
Cameron Keith, Dartmouth's top finisher overall in 41
st, shot a 5-over par in the final round. Keith had four birdies on Sunday but stumbled with double bogeys on holes four and 14.
Sophomore
Aaron Zhang and first-year
Tyler Brand both birdied on hole 11.
North Alabama's John Logan and Sebastian Bengtsson tied for the top spot on the player leaderboard after they both shot 7-under par for the tournament.
Dartmouth returns to the links in a couple of weeks with a trip to South Carolina to compete in the Cleveland golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
