ITHACA, N.Y. — The Dartmouth men's tennis came up empty, aside from a doubles win from
Waleed Qadir and
Miles Groom, on Sunday during a 4-0 loss at No. 30 Cornell.
Â
Qadir and Groom were victorious on Court 3 in the first match to finish, but the remaining two doubles decisions sided with the Big Red, who went on to clinch in singles.
Â
Groom took a set from Cornell's Petar Teodorovic at No. 2 singles in a match that would go unfinished. Samuel Paquette's victory over
Hikaru Takeda at the No. 6 position clinched the match in Cornell's favor.
Â
With just two matches remaining in the 2024 season, the Big Green are home back-to-back matches next weekend beginning with Princeton on Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m.
