HANOVER, N.H. —
Milana Socha, head coach of the Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving teams, has announced the men's program's Class of 2028. This six-member class includes athletes from across the United States, spanning from New York to California, plus one from Ireland.
"These men are going to make an immediate positive impact on our team, and not just through the points they will score," Socha said. "They are all high character individuals who are driven to succeed and aim for excellence in all they do. My coaching staff and I are very excited to work with them as they help take Dartmouth swimming and diving to new heights."
The newcomers, listed alphabetically, are as follows:
Ronan Fahey
Dublin, Ireland | Distance Free | Trojan Swimming Club | Blackrock College
Before Dartmouth: Three-time 1500m national champion with 14 total national medals … Represented Ireland in the European Junior Open Water Championships in 2023 and 2024, and the European Open Water Cup in 2023 and 2024 … Men's National Champion in the 10km Open Water in 2023 … Member of the Irish National Team in 2023 and 2024.
