HANOVER, N.H. – As we enter the summer, men's squash looks to the 2024-25 season and has appointed three captains to lead the team. Seniors
Mac Aube and
Quintin Campbell, each who served as captains during their junior years, will be joined by fellow senior
Christian Shah as the three Big Green captains.
Â
Aube played in all 17 matches for the Big Green during his junior season, mostly at the first position. He posted a 6-7 record at first and played the remaining four matches at the second position. One of Aube's wins on the season came against Ivy League opponent Columbia.
Â
While Aube shined on the court, he also shined in the classroom, earning Academic All-Ivy honors and a College Squash Association Scholar Athlete at the conclusion of the season.
Â
Campbell, who will serve his second straight year as captain, played in all but one match for the Big Green during his junior year. Campbell went 8-8 at the fifth position, including collecting an Ivy League victory over Cornell. He also picked up wins against Amherst and Tufts.
Â
Like Aube, Campbell was one of four members of the Big Green to be recognized as a CSA Scholar Athlete for his work on the court and in the classroom.
Â
Joining Aube and Campbell for his first season as captain is fellow senior
Christian Shah. Shah played in all 17 matches for the Big Green, the only member to post an individual record above .500, going 9-8. He competed mostly at the second position, going 7-6. His remaining two matches were played at the first position in which he went 2-2.
Â
Shah collected three individual Ivy League wins, defeating Cornell, Columbia, and Harvard. He was also the third of the four total men's players to be named a CSA Scholar Athlete.
Â
While Aube, Campbell, and Shah will lead the men's team, Chelsea Cho and Aubrey Lennon will serve as captains for the women's teams. You can read more about the women's captains on DartmouthSports.com.
