HANOVER, N.H.—The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its 2024 Division I Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams. Dartmouth women's tennis landed nine student-athletes on the scholar-athlete list while also being named an All-Academic Team.
For a student-athlete to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete a student-athlete must meet the following requirements:
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
Ameliija Swaffer-Selff (Economics),
Brooke Hess (Economics),
Caroline Lemcke (undeclared),
Elizabeth Fahrmeier (Government),
Katie Weber (Psychology),
Lexi Dewire (Engineering Sciences),
Michela Moore (Undeclared),
Peyton Capuano (Undeclared), and
Ujvala Jupalli (Mathematics) all earned scholar athlete honors.
It is the second straight year that Dartmouth saw nine student-athletes named scholar athletes.
In order to be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
