Mullins Triple Double Leads Big Green to 3-1 Victory Over Siena

HANOVER, N.H. – Tasman Mullins recorded a triple double as the Dartmouth women's volleyball team defeated Siena this afternoon, 3-1, from Leede Arena. The win closed out a 3-0 weekend for the Big Green in the Dartmouth Invite. Mullins was named MVP of the Dartmouth Invite while Maddie LaFata and Ava Roberts were also named to the All-Tournament Team.

Mullins recorded 13 kills, 16 assists and 13 digs for the Big Green making her the 20^th DI women's volleyball student-athlete to record a triple double so far this season.

SET BREAKDOWN:
25-22, Dartmouth; 26-24, Siena; 27-25, Dartmouth; 25-21, Dartmouth

The Big Green improve to 7-2 (0-0 Ivy League) and Siena falls to 1-10 (0-0 MAAC).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
SET ONE:

The first set was back and forth until Dartmouth went on a 4-0 run to extend to a five-point lead, 20-15.
Faced against set point, Siena scored three unanswered points to close the Dartmouth lead 24-22.
Emma Symon had a kill that ended the set, 25-22 Dartmouth.

SET TWO:

The second set saw 13 ties between the two teams.
Five unanswered scores from Siena gave the Saints a 24-22 lead.
Two kills from Siena gave them the set, 26-24.

SET THREE:

The set was evenly matched most of the way with multiple lead changes.
Five consecutive scores by Siena gave them a 19-16 lead.
The set continued into extra points after a kill by Raeli Smith tied it. A kill and ace from Piper Stevens gave the Big Green the set, 27-25.

SET FOUR:

Dartmouth led the set until Siena was able to tie it 13-13.
The teams were then tied five times the remainder of the set.
A 6-1 run by the Big Green, consisting of two kills from Mullins, capped the set and the match for Dartmouth, 25-21.
