Moore and Capuano Punch Ticket To Qualifier

CARY, N.C.—The pair of Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano continued their run at the ITA Women's All-American Championships on Sunday.
The doubles team punched their ticket to the qualifier with a straight set win over a duo from Texas. Moore and Capuano won the opening set 6-4 and followed it up with a 6-4 win the second set to win the match.
The duo continue their run on Monday against a team from Iowa.
Both Moore and Capuano played matches in the consolation draw on Sunday. Moore faced off against Lindsay Zink from North Carolina. Moore won the opening set 6-3 before closing out the match with a 6-4 win in the second set.
Capuano faced Marcela Lopez from Oklahoma State. Capuano won the first set 6-2 but dropped the second set 6-3. Capuano rebounded in the third set with a 6-4 win to secure the match win.
