New York, N.Y - The No. 12 Dartmouth men's squash team fell at No. 9 Columbia on Sunday afternoon, 6-3. Columbia struck first and won a close 3-2 set at No. 1, but Mac Aube returned the favor with a 3-0 sweep in the second position.
After the Lions picked up two straight sets, Callan Venkatesan attempted a comeback in the fifth position. The set began with him falling 2-0, but he quickly evened the score with 11-8 and 11-7 wins. Columbia ultimately won the set with a close 11-9 game.
Dartmouth then went on to win two straight sets, bringing the overall score to a close 4-3. Brandon Wang handed the Lions a 3-0 loss at No. 6, winning 11-8, 11-9, 15-13. Similarly, Felix Feldman won at the No. 7 position, 11-8, 11-7, 11-1.
The Big Green will continue their road stretch when facing Tufts on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
