No. 12 Dartmouth Falls Short Against No. 7 Yale

HANOVER, N.H. - The No. 12 Dartmouth women's squash team came up short against No. 7 Yale, dropping 8-1 at home. Nathalie Taylor clinched the sole victory for the Big Green.

Kriti Muthu gave Yale's Rashi Goverdhanam a hard time at the eighth position, clinching the first game 12-10 and then picking up a pair of close 12-14 losses. Goverdhanam sealed the set with a 13-11 win.

Ellie Clifford also had multiple close games in the second position, bouncing back from a 13-11 loss to take the following game 11-9. Clifford kept fighting but was unable to clinch her final two games, losing the set 3-1.

Taylor shined for the Big Green at the ninth position, starting her set with a strong 13-11 win. She only dropped one game (11-5) before bouncing back with 11-9 and 11-8 victories to take the set.

The Big Green will look to re-enter the win column when they face No. 3 Trinity in Hartford, Conn. on Sunday.
