BOSTON, MASS - The Dartmouth Track & Field team highlighted its appearance at the Riverhawk Invitational this weekend with six top-ten performances.
The men boasted three of those top-ten finishes on Friday. Adrien Jacobs etched himself into program history with his 1:02.99 victory in the 500m, ranking second all-time.
Similarly, Bryce Thomas clocked a 21.62 final time in the 200m, putting himself at second all-time. Winston Morgan claimed the fourth-best time in the 200m with his 21.77 finish.
J'Voughnn Blake also gained a victory for Dartmouth with his 2:23.97 finish in the 1000m.
"The Riverhawk Invite was a great opportunity for our team. "The Track" is a great facility and we look forward to many more meets there in the future. We're continuing to learn the strengths and weaknesses of our team. I thought we took a step in the right direction this weekend. We walked away with six top-ten performances and several new PRs. Bella Pietrasiewicz secured a 2:08.77 win in the 800m on Saturday, putting her at No. 8 all-time for the event. Daniela Ruelas Lomeli clinched another victory for the Big Green with her 24.84 finish in the 200m, now ranking ninth all-time.
Viktoriya Emelianova put herself at tenth all-time in the shot put with her 13.92m mark.
The Big Green will return to Boston on Friday for the John Thomas Terrier Classic at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
