SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Big Green sit tied for seventh place of 14 teams after a rainy first day of the Savannah Intercollegiate at the Club at Savannah Harbor in Georgia. The Bg Green shot -12 in the morning round with a 66, 68, and two 71s ]shooting 276 and slipped back in the rain shooting 298 for a total of -2 for the day. Longwood ranks first with USC Beaufort in second. Penn rounds out the top three.
Eli Kimche led the Dartmouth golfers as he finished the first day of competition tied for 13
th after shooting a 66 (-6) in the first round and a 74 (+2) in the second round.
Colin Keith shot a 68 (-4) and a 75 (+3) on the day to finish tied for 22
nd.
Tyler Brand also found himself tied for 22
nd with a 71 (-1) in the first round and in the second round shot even.
Ian Davis is tied for 45
th after shooting a 71 (-1) and a 77 (+5) on the first day of competition.
Fin Szafnauer rounds out the Dartmouth golfers with a 76 (+4) in the initial round and a 79 (+7) in the second round of the day.
The Big Green return to the course Sunday, Feb. 16 for the second day of competition of the Savannah Intercollegiate.
