PROVIDENCE, R.I. - David Adams made program history during Dartmouth's final meet of the regular indoor season at the Brown Invitational on Saturday.
As Adams barreled down the runway and flew over the horizontal bar, he cleared 5.20m (17.06 ft) and shattered Dartmouth's all-time pole vaulting record, which he previously set in 2023.

As for the throwing events, Colton McMaster clinched the weight throw and the shot put with his respective 19.83m and 17.39m marks. Brad Chosewood followed closely behind, placing second in the shot put.
On the women's side, Autumn Clark won the shot put with her 13.76m finish. Viktoriya Emelianova finished second with her 13.42m throw.
Esme Huh secured the 3000m with her 10:31.21 finish, while Annie Pflaum finished in second with a 10:32.15 finish. Megan Judd won the long jump with her 5.57m mark. Claire McDonald was the runner-up in the mile.
"It was great to have one more opportunity to tune up before the Ivy League indoor championships next weekend. I was happy with the energy we brought to the meet today. Now we turn our attention to HEPS at Cornell. Our team will be ready! Go Big Green!" Nelson said.
The Big Green will travel to Ithaca, N.Y for the Ivy League Indoor Championship on March 1-2.
