HANOVER, N.H. – On Thursday, the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association announced the national coaches of the year, honoring
Brayton Osgood as the National Nordic Coach of the Year.

Osgood led the men's Nordic team to another successful Carnival and National Championship season, also earning the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Coach of the Year honor.

The men's Nordic team had success all season, as a Big Green skier finished first in each of the EISA Carnival races.
John Steel Hagenbuch and
Luke Allan oftentimes finished back-to-back, taking first and second.

Allan earned five first place EISA finishes while Hagenbuch took home nine wins across both freestyle and classical disciplines.

Aidan Jacobus also had a breakout season under Osgood. The first year finished in the top-10 in four races, earning EISA Rookie of the Year Honors.

At the 2025 National Championship hosted by the Big Green, Osgood and the team found success on their home course. Hagenbuch defended his 2024 7.5K individual National Championship, finishing this year's classical race in 20:52.8. He also finished on the podium in the 20K Freestyle, placing second with a 44:44 to take home two First-Team All-America honors.

Allan finished in the top ten in both NCAA, earning First-Team All-America status in the classic race and Second-Team All-America in the freestyle race.

Cooper Camp also impressed in his first NCAA Championship appearance, finishing ninth overall in the 7.5K Classic race, earning Second-Team All-America honors.

Osgood has been the Head Coach of the Big Green men's Nordic team since 2016. The Dartmouth alum previously served as an assistant for the 2011-12 season. This is Osgood's first National Coach of the Year recognition.
