PRINCETON, N.J.—On Thursday, the Ivy League announced its postseason awards for the 2024-25 season. Dartmouth's Peyton Capuano, Michela Moore, and Elizabeth Fahrmeier have earned postseason honors.
Capuano was named First Team All-Ivy Singles and First Team All-Ivy Doubles. Capuano went 3-1 in Ivy League play this season for the Big Green all in the first singles position. In the spring season she had a 9-9 overall record along with an 8-8 record in first singles. Between the fall and spring, she had a 14-11 record. It is the second time in her two year career that she has been named All-Ivy, last season as a first-year she was named Second Team All-Ivy.
Moore earned Second Team All-Ivy Singles and First Team All-Ivy Doubles honors. The sophomore had a team high 12 wins during the spring with three of the wins coming in Ivy League play. Throughout the full season, Moore had a 20-11 record in singles play. She was the second singles player for the Big Green as she went 10-5 in second singles and also won a pair of matches in first singles. The Monte Sereno, Calif. native ended the season on a three-match win streak.
The duo of Capuano and Moore were a staple in the first doubles position for Dartmouth. The sophomore duo went 15-4 for the Big Green in dual matches while turning in a 4-2 record in Ivy League play. In the last 10 matches the duo played together they were 8-2.
Fahrmeier earn Academic All-Ivy honors as she closed out her Dartmouth career with three wins in dual matches this season while picking up wins over UC San Diego, Colgate, and Army in the spring along with a win over Rhode Island in the fall. In doubles play she had an 8-7 record with one win in first doubles and seven wins in second doubles. She also notched three Ivy League doubles wins.
Dartmouth closed out the season with nine wins which is the most since the Big Green won 11 matches in the 2017-18 season.
