HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth men's lacrosse senior goaltender
Mason Morel earned his second All-America honor on Wednesday, as he was named a Nike Lacrosse Media All-American by Inside Lacrosse. Morel also garnered USA Lacrosse Magazine honorable mention All-America recognition last week.

Morel is one of 10 goaltenders in the nation honored, with first team, second team, third team and seven earning honorable mention distinction.

Morel was sensational all season, with his 14.62 saves per game good for second nationally and 58.5 save percentage fifth in the country. He was three times named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week (most in the league), while being named to the USILA National Team of the Week twice. Morel made at least 14 saves in every Ivy League games, including 21 against No. 4 Princeton and 20 in the win over Brown. He also stopped 14-of-22 shots in the Ivy opening win against No. 16 Penn.

Thomas Power (who was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine honorable mention All-American) are the Big Green's first All-Americans since 2010.

The Big Green wrapped up their season with an 8-5 record, marking their most wins since 2006. With Ivy League victories over Penn and Brown, it's also the first time they've had multiple Ivy wins since 2010.
