HANOVER, N.H. - Maya Kendall was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine honorable mention All-American, as announced by the publication on Thursday evening.Â
Kendall is the first Dartmouth women's lacrosse athlete to receive an All-American nod since 2019, when Kathryn Giroux was named a third team All-American.Â
This comes after a highly successful season for the junior draw specialist, where she broke program and Ivy League records for most draw controls in a single game with 22 and most single-season draw controls with 188. Kendall ranks second in the nation in draw controls per game, averaging 12.53 through 15 games.Â
This season, Kendall also earned first team All-Ivy honors for the first time in her career and was named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason first team All-American for her dominance in the circle.Â
The Big Green wrapped the season with a 9-6 record, recording their best full-season finish since 2019.
