GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Wednesday, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 At-Large Academic All-America Teams, naming senior
John Steel Hagenbuch to the second team.

Hagenbuch competed at five of the Big Green's six EISA Carnivals, earning first place finishes in eight of the ten races he competed in. He started the season with two podiums, first and second place, at the Bates Carnival. Hagenbuch concluded the EISA circuit with two first place finishes at UNH, helping him earn All-East First team and being named the EISA Classic discipline leader.

At the NCAA Championship, Hagenbuch picked up an individual title for the second straight year, this time winning the 7.5K Classic race. He earned First-Team All-America for his first-place finish as well as second place in the 20K Freestyle mass start.

In June, Hagenbuch was also named to the CSC Academic All-District at Large team.
