HANOVER, N.H. – The first two carnivals of the EISA season officially concluded this weekend, as Dartmouth earned first place in both the St. Lawrence and Colby Carnivals, posting 873 and 869 points respectively.

The weekend began with the alpine portion of the St. Lawrence Carnival, starting Thursday with the giant slalom. The Big Green dominated on the men's side, tallying four skiers in the top ten.

First-year
Sawyer Reed led the Big Green with his best finish of the season, earning second with a 2:07.30.
Â
Teammate
Benny Brown was just behind, claiming the last spot on the podium with a 2:07.53.
Â
Oscar Zimmer rounded out the top five with a 2:07.53 to finish fourth overall.
Heming Sola was the next Big Green finisher, posting a 2:07.78 for eighth overall.
Â
Finishing just outside the top-ten was
Dan Gillis whose overall 2:08.19 was good for 12
th place.
Philip Lundquist was Dartmouth's next finisher, finishing in 2:11.32.

Louis De Pourtales was the other member of the Big Green to suit up, but he did not finish his first run.
Â
On the women's side,
Emma Resnick led the way, finishing sixth overall with a 2:13.08.
Carly Elsinger was right on her heels, claiming seventh overall thanks to a time of 2:13.24.

Zoe Zimmermann finished just outside the top ten, claiming 12
th with a 2:14.04.

Riley Grosdidier and
Sammi Trudeau finished back-to-back to claim 18
th and 19
th overall. Grosdidier posted a 2:14.47 followed by Trudeau's 2:14.57.

Emma Reynolds finished only four spots behind, finishing in 2:15.23, good for 23
rd. Bea May was the Big Green's final skier, but she did not finish her second run of the day.

The Big Green remained in first place after the giant slalom race, as the men posted the overall highest points with 126 while the women earned 100, second best of the field.

The St. Lawrence Carnival concluded with the slalom on Friday, January 23 as the Dartmouth men posted the most points (118) and the women posted the second most points (109) to help Dartmouth to an overall victory with 873 points.

Zimmer led the way for the men, winning the slalom with a 1:26.72. His run 2 time of 42.85 was the fastest by nearly one second.

Sola and Reed continued to impress, rounding out the top ten finishers. Sola claimed seventh overall with a 1:27.93 while Reed posted a 1:28 flat, good for eighth.

Lundquist was Dartmouth's next finisher, taking 14
th with a 1:28.36.

De Pourtales, Gillis, and
Benny Brown also suited up for Dartmouth but did not finish.
Â
For the women, Zimmermann claimed second overall, her best finish this season, with a 1:34.14 overall.
Â
Resnick collected her second top ten finish of the weekend with a 1:35.08, good for seventh place.
Â
Elsinger claimed 13
th thanks to a 1:35.63, followed by Grosdidier in 15
th with a 1:35.80. May rounded out the top 20, finishing 19
th overall with a time of 1:36.13.

Trudeau was just behind, finishing in 1:36.20 for 21
st overall. Then, Reynolds claimed 23
rd with a 1:36.42 as all Big Green women' finished the race to help Dartmouth to their first overall carnival victory of the season.

Simultaneously to the slalom at the St. Lawrence Carnival, the Nordic team began their portion of competition at the Colby Carnival, kicking off the weekend with the 20K Freestyle.
Â
Cooper Camp led the way for the men, posting a time of 5:50.8, finishing just off the podium in fourth place.
Micah Bruner was the next Big Green finisher, claiming tenth overall with a 56:19.4.

Jack Lange was the next Dartmouth finisher, earning 14
th overall with a 57:02.5. Teammate
Dustin Hay finished 46 seconds later to claim 17
th (57:48.7).
Â
Tory Hoffman was the final Big Green skier to finish under one hour, posting a 59:36.3 to claim 31
st overall.
Â
Aidan Jacobus (1:00:16.0) and
Aaron Power (1:00:31.6) also finished for the Big Green.
Â
The women were led by
Ava Thurston, whose 1:03:13.8 landed her a spot on the podium, second overall.
Â
Evie Walton claimed tenth with a 1:04:55.7.
Amelia Tucker finished next for the Big Green, finishing 17
th overall with a time of 1:06:41.4.

Caroline Menna posted a 1:08.35 for 22
nd overall while
Maeve Ingelfinger was not far behind, taking home 24
th overall with a 1:09:04.3

Grace Zanni (1:10.15.2),
Adele Horning (1:10:28.5),
Helen Townley (1:11.38.4),
Anja Grover (1:12.07.9),
Virginia Cobb (1:12:32.8), and
Ava Schneider (1:15:34.9) rounded out the Big Green finishers.

On the final day of the Colby Carnival, the Nordic team raced the 7.5K freestyle. The women posted the most points, 124, while the men tallied 72 to lift the Big Green to a four-point win. This marks the Big Green's second carnival win this season and their eighth consecutive, starting at the beginning of the 2025 EISA carnival season.

Power led the way for the men, finishing less than two seconds off the podium. Power posted a 21:10.1 to finish fourth overall.

Camp was the next Dartmouth finisher, rounding out the top ten with a ninth-place finish and a time of 21:20.0.

Lange and Bruner finished back-to-back, claiming 20
th and 21
st respectively. Lange finished in 21:50.4 while Bruner was less than a second behind with a 21:513.

Hoffman finished 24
th overall, posting a 21:52.5. Jacobus finished in 21:57.3, good for 29
th overall while Hay was the final Dartmouth finisher, crossing the line in 22:00.3.

Thurston won her third race of the season for the women, finishing in 23:12.4 to claim the top spot on the podium. Thurston finished 18 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
Â
Ingelfinger and Walton claimed eighth and ninth respectively. Ingelfinger finished in 24:21.7 while Walton posted a 24:27.9. Tucker wound up just outside the top ten, crossing the finish line in 24:35.6, good for 11
th overall.

Townley was the next Big Green finisher, claiming 17
th with a 24:59.2. Menna (25:41.2), Zannie (26:07.5), Horning (26:17.8), Cobb (26:19.5), and Grover (27:09.9) also finished for the Big Green.

Dartmouth will be back in action this upcoming weekend, Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, returning to a traditional carnival schedule. The Big Green will host the Dartmouth Carnival at Oak Hill and the Skiway. This is the third consecutive season in which the Big Green have hosted an EISA carnival and their first hosted event since the 2025 National Championship last March.

Competition will kick off with the 7.5K Classic race at Oak Hill and the Giant Slalom at the Skiway on Friday followed by the 15K freestyle and the slalom to conclude the carnival on Saturday.
