4:53 into the second period, the Bears took the 2-1 lead while on the power play.
Just past the 11-minute mark of the second period, H. Cleaves notched his second goal of the night. While on the power play, CJ Foley dopped the puck for Stavroff in the Dartmouth zone. Stavroff flew though the neutral zone and split the defenders. H. Cleaves joined him and created a mini two on one. Stavroff found H. Cleaves and he tapped home his 12th goal of the season while both Stavroff and Foley earned their 13th assists of the year.
With 2:02 left in the frame, Brown took the 3-2 lead and held it into the intermission.

Stavroff found Matt Fusco down low in the left circle. Fusco picked his head up and found Nikita Nikora in the right circle uncovered with the goalie out of position. Nikora controlled the puck and wristed home his sixth goal of the year. Fusco picked up his first assist of the season while Stavroff notched his third of the game.
