FOLSOM, Calif. – The 2026 Intercollegiate Rowing Association continued Saturday, as Dartmouth's heavyweight rowing team saw action in four races.
The Big Green kicked off the day with the Varsity 8 semifinal. Dartmouth's 1V finished third overall, posting a time of 5:40.63, just over three seconds behind first place Washington and two seconds behind second place Princeton.
The 2V semifinal was next. Princeton, Harvard, and Syracuse rounded out the top three as the Big Green finished in 6:01.3, claiming the sixth and final spot.
Dartmouth finished middle of the pack in the 3V semifinal, claiming fourth with a time of 5:49.18. The Big Green finished just seventh one-hundredths of a second behind third place Brown and under two seconds out of the top spot.
The Varsity 4 final wrapped the Big Green's competition on day 2. Dartmouth finished fourth overall, crossing the finish line in 6:41.56, the first Ivy finisher.
The 2026 national championship will wrap up on Sunday, May 31 with the Big Green's first race taking place at 12:38 p.m. ET.
Francesco Dembinski will lead the Big Green in lane one of the 3V second final.
