SENIOR (2020): Raced as an individual in season-opening carnival at Harvard and skated to a tie for sixth in the 5K freestyle … posted two more individual top-10 finishes in 5K freestyle races at Colby (10th) and Bates (team-best 5th) … also led Dartmouth at Bates in the 15K classic by taking 11th overall … helped the 3x5K free relay team step on the podium at Williams in third place … picked up points in the 10K classic at Williams by crossing the finish line in 15th and again at the East Regional hosted by Middlebury in the 5K freestyle, placing 12th.
JUNIOR (2019): Competed in each of the first four carnivals … top finish came in the 5k freestyle at Vermont where she placed fourth overall … had three other top-20 finishes, the best coming on the home course in the 10K freestyle (11th).
SOPHOMORE (2018): All-East Second Team …First appeared at St. Lawrence, earning a ninth-place finish in the 10K Freestyle … took a spot on the podium at Vermont with the third-best time in the 5K Classical, plus claimed fifth in the 15K Freestyle there as well … missed the rest of the season with an injury.
FRESHMAN (2017): All-East First Team … skied for the Big Green at the NCAA Championship as second-ranked women's Nordic skier in the East … best carnival came at Middlebury as she won the 15K Freestyle and was part of the winning classic sprint relay team … had three other podium stops by taking second each time in the 10K Classic at Vermont, the 5K Classic at Dartmouth and the 3x5K Free relay team at Dartmouth as well … chosen as the DartmouthSports.com Female Athlete of the Week after the UVM carnival … posted four other top-10 finishes, all in freestyle races.
BEFORE DARTMOUTH: Three-sport athlete at Eden Prairie High School in Nordic skiing, track and cross country … captained the Nordic team as a senior and was a two-time all-state performer … Academic All-State for the track team … four-time All-American and won a national championship at Junior Nationals.
PERSONAL: Abbie is the daughter of Paul and Ann Drach and has a brother and sister ... enjoys sewing and baking.
