SENIOR (2021-22)
Finished his senior campaign with a team-best stroke average of 72.74… played in nine tournaments for the Big Green… finished ninth overall at 2-under par at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Cup… helped Dartmouth to a second-place finish at the Columbia Fall Invitational, finishing ninth overall… finished five tournaments with a team-best score during the 2021-22 season.
JUNIOR (2020-21)
No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
Played exceptional golf in the fall with a stroke average of 72.63 in the three tournaments … led Dartmouth at the Cornell Invitational, finishing 13th overall among 89 golfers at 3-over par with eight birdies to his credit … tied with classmate Charles Petrie for 20th out of 74 at the fall Dartmouth Invitational, carding a 1-over 143 … started the spring slowly at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate, but did not get a chance to improve when the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
FRESHMAN (2018-19)
Finished his rookie campaign with a 74.75 stroke average … made quite the collegiate debut, placing third in an 81-player field at the Cornell Invitational with a 4-under 209 … participated in six other tournaments, but his next-best showing didn’t come until the Ivy League championship where he tied for 15th out of 40 with a 9-over 222.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterman in golf at St. John’s Prep, serving as captain in his senior year … helped his team win a pair of D1A state championships (2013, ’15) … Massachusetts Junior Player of the Year and Coaches Award recipient as a senior in 2016-17 … Future Collegians World Tour Player of the Year as a junior … qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship at Pebble Beach by earning medalist honors with a 139 (-1) at the sectionals at Essex Country Club in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts.
PERSONAL
Born on Sept. 10, 1999 … son of James and Kathi Turner has a brother and sister … brother, James '21, played alongside him from 2018-2022 on the Big Green golf team … father played hockey at Harvard, and mother was a track athlete for the Crimson in the early ’80s … uncle Mark Ardagna ’83 was a member of the Dartmouth hockey team … grandfather, John Turner, was a hockey player at Providence.
