FIFTH-YEAR (2023)
Co-captain of the men’s Nordic team … competed in each of the first five carnivals, the last two as an individual … top finish came in the 7.5K freestyle in the opening carnival at Bates … also took 27th in the 10K classic at Harvard.
SENIOR (2022)
Raced in each of the first four carnivals before missing the final two … posted the highest finish of his career at St. Michael’s in the 10K free, placing 13th overall.
JUNIOR (2021)
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
SOPHOMORE (2020)
Once again skied in every carnival race … placed 25th overall at the Vermont 10K freestyle … best classical showing came the following week at Colby, taking 26th in the 15K to score points for the first time in his collegiate career … part of the 3x5K freestyle relay team that placed 15th at Williams … among Dartmouth’s top three at the East Regional in the 20K classic (31st).
FRESHMAN (2019)
USCSCA National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team … competed in every carnival race as a rookie … best individual finish came at the East Regionals hosted by Bates, placing 23rd in the 20K classic … other top-25 finish came on the home course at Oak Hill, placing 24th in the 15K freestyle at Winter Carnival.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year in Nordic Skiing … Junior National Championships in 2015 … All-American as a junior … all-state and all-conference as a senior.
PERSONAL
Son of Robert and Sheryl Golin … has one brother … plans to study political science and economics and interested in a business career … cousin Mathilde Cini is an Olympic Swimmer for France.
