Finished eighth in the slalom at the Harvard Carnival.
JUNIOR (2023)
Raced at the Williams Carnival, placing 30th in the giant slalom.
SOPHOMORE (2022)
Started three carnival races, tying for 17th in the Vermont slalom to earn points for the Big Green.
FRESHMAN (2021)
USCSCA National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team … season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in the National Junior Championships in each of his last two years at the academy … recipient of the Max Burkhart Award as the FIS Alpine student-athlete who best exemplified the namesake’s spirit and approach to the sport as well as the Tracy Keller Student Athlete of the Year Award after his junior season.

Full name is Preston Caldwell O’Brien … son of Chris and Dana O’Brien has a brother and two sisters … both sisters either attend or attended Dartmouth, Aubrey ’19 who competed for the Big Green, and Nina ’22 who is a member of the U.S. Ski Team and competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics … brother Chris skied for Harvard … enjoys biking, surfing and windsurfing … nearly fluent in German.
