Four-year letterwinner and captain as a senior on a small-school Oklahoma powerhouse ... helped Cascia Hall go 15-0 and win the state Class 2A title as a junior and finish 13-0 while winning the Class 3A title as a senior ... team went 7-0 in district play to win district titles in his sophomore, junior and senior years ... chosen for the Class 3A all-state team by the Oklahoma Coaches Association ... selected second-team All-Metro by the Tulsa World ... honorable mention all-state by both the Tulsa World and Daily Oklahoman ... three-year starter on the offensive line with 131 tackles and 18 assists in high school career ... also lettered in basketball and track ... father graduated from the University of Oklahoma, mother from TCU ... uncle Buz Walters played football at Washington and Lee and uncle Rob Walters played tennis at Missouri ... interested in engineering.
Teevens: “He played offensive center and defensive end. He’s a productive guy. He’s just a relentless player. We look at him as a defensive end, but he could be a Sam linebacker. He’s an athletic kid who has some growth potential. He’s another kid we liked at camp and went on at camp. His team has won a bunch of games in a row and he’s been a big part of it. He dinged himself a little bit early in the year but came back. He’s a tough and somebody we feel will be a real positive addition for us.”
