FIFTH YEAR (2018) | Game-by-Game Stats
Granted a fifth year of eligibility due to an injury during his junior campaign … earned FCS All-America honors on the defensive line from three organizations — the American Football Coaches Association (second team), STATS (third team) and Phil Steele (fourth team) … also a unanimous All-Ivy League First Team selection and member of the Division I All-New England Team … recipient of the Gordon P. Bennett Award as the lineman who exemplifies the high degree of performance, sportsmanship and character exhibited by the captain of the 1936 football team … led the Ivy league with 12.5 tackles for a loss and ranked second in the conference (and 15th nationally) with 8.5 sacks … made 43 tackles and forced a fumble, plus batted down six passes at the line of scrimmage, the most by a defensive lineman in the Ancient Eight … registered a pair of sacks (one of which forced a fumble) in the 41-18 victory at Yale with another tackle for a loss for good measure … his finest performance came at Columbia where he registered three sacks among his seven tackles, leading to 25 yards lost … named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the Gold Helmet Award winner and the DartmouthSports.com Male Athlete of the Week for his performance against the Lions … also had solo sacks in wins over Holy Cross and Harvard, plus another 1.5 to end the season in a 49-7 blowout over Brown.

All-Ivy League honorable mention defensive lineman … returned from an injury the previous year to play in all 10 games at nose guard, starting the last six … recorded 29 tackles with 2.0 going for a loss of six yards … his first TFL was one of three stops in the opener at Stetson … made five stops with tackle for a 2-yard loss at Harvard … shared the team lead with a career-high eight tackles in the 10-0 shutout of Cornell.
JUNIOR (2016)
Sat out the season with an injury.
SOPHOMORE (2015) | Game-by-Game Stats
Played in all 10 games during the season … recorded first career tackle in the opener at Georgetown, stopping a rusher for a short two-yard gain … lead tackler on an eight-yard sack the following week against Sacred Heart while making three tackles in all in the 49-7 romp … also had two stops in the 41-20 road win at Penn and two more on consecutive plays in the 35-3 homecoming victory over Yale.

Made his varsity debut against Brown in his lone appearance.
HIGH SCHOOL
Talented athlete who played quarterback before concentrating on defensive end as a senior … led team in tackles for loss and sacks despite missing two games with an ankle injury … served as a senior captain … as a junior helped St. Ignatius to first league title since 1945 … all-Chicago Catholic League White player … played catcher on the baseball team before concentrating on football as a senior.
PERSONAL
Brother Lucas joins the Big Green team in the fall of 2018 … sister Annamarie played rugby at The Catholic University of America and was an alternate for the U.S. women’s national team … enjoys skiing, golf and fishing.
