Senior (2012): In his final season, Tunney played the best lacrosse of his collegiate career ... played and started all 14 games for the Big Green ... set career highs in goals (17), assists (25) and point (42) ... led the team in assists and points ... grabbed 22 ground balls and caused seven turnovers ... scored four man-up goals and one man-down goal ... had a career-high nine points and six assists in the 11-10 victory over Sacred Heart ... became the first to tally six assists since Ari Sussman '10 had six against Harvard on May 3, 2008 ... is the first to have nine points in a game since Josh Etzion '11 had nine against Wagner on March 11, 2010 ... named to the NEILA Senior Scholar-Athlete Team ... earned Dartmouth's Offensive MVP honor.
Junior (2011): Tunney had his breakout season in his second full season with the Big Green ... played in 12 games, starting 11 ... finished third on the team with 15 goals and fourth on the team in points with 25 ... had 10 assists and took 35 shots ... scored three man-up goals and one man-down goal ... collected 12 ground balls and caused three turnovers ... committed three penalties for 2.5 minutes ... scored five goals, including his first collegiate goal, in the 17-10 win over Mercer.
Sophomore (2010): Appeared in six games in his first full season with Dartmouth ... saw his first action and only play at home in the win over Wagner on March 11 ... all of his next five appearances came on the road at UNC, Duke, Harvard, Princeton and Vermont ... registered one shot on goal at Vermont on April 20 in an 18-13 victory.
Freshman (2009): Joined the Big Green during the season and played in two games ... picked up one ground ball.
Before Dartmouth: Three-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Brunswick and was a team captain ... named an All-American as a senior and was a member of the All-Royal Palms Tournament Team .. voted his team’s rookie of the year in his first season at Brunswick and two-time most valuable player ... also played four years of ice hockey.
Personal: Bryan Andrew Tunney is the son of Bryan and Nancy Tunney ... has one sister ... grandfather, Walter Burke, was a member of the Dartmouth Class of 1944.
