Samir Mehta comes to Dartmouth out of Seaholm High School in Birmingham, MI.
He is the son of Mehul and Claire Mehta, and was born in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Mehta pursued his interest in squash through outside venues at the Birmingham Athletic Club and was recruited by Dartmouth College to play for the 2006-2007 season.
As for his future plans, Mehta says that he is leaning towards a career in Engineering or a degree in Pre-Medicine.
