Rachel Stratton has been named assistant coach for the Dartmouth men's and women's swim teams.
Since 2004, Stratton has been the head coach of Team Santa Monica (Calif.), a program numbering more than 130 swimmers. She was the assistant coach from 2002-2004.
From 2001-2003, Stratton was head coach of Brentwood (Calif.) School and director of Brentwood's summer swim camp.
Since 2005, she has chaired the Pacific Section, a subcommittee of Southern California Swimming. In that role, Stratton was responsible for planning and running all section meetings and creating the meet schedule for all competitions.
A graduate of UCLA, she was chair from 2000-2002 of the Bruin Athletic Council, a student run organization that serves as liaison between all student athletes and the athletic department. From 1997-2000, she was coach of the West Valley Swim Club (Saratoga, Calif.). She is Level 4 certified by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA).
