JUNIOR (2020)
Earned All-America First Team honors in the giant slalom for the second straight year … All-East First Team as the fourth-ranked skier in the region … stepped on the podium four times while competing in four carnivals … finished no lower than sixth in any race she completed … placed second in both the giant slalom and slalom at Vermont to be named the EISA Women’s Alpine Skier of the Week … produced another second-place finish in the GS the following week at Colby … missed two carnivals while competing on the NorAm Circuit, winning three consecutive races in a two-day span … returned for the East Regional, stepping on the podium again in the GS in second while claiming fourth in the slalom … finished fourth in the GS at the NCAA Championships to make the All-America First Team.
SOPHOMORE (2019) First-team All-American in the giant slalom … All-East First Team and EISA Women’s Alpine Rookie of the Year … USCSCA Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team ... recorded five podiums — all in second place — during carnival season before adding another at the NCAA Championships … took second in the giant slalom at New Hampshire … repeated that performance on the home slopes during Winter Carnival … first slalom medal came at Middlebury, placing second in that race … doubled up on the podium at the East Regional hosted by Bates, claiming second in both the GS and slalom to earn EISA Women’s Alpine Skier of the Week honors … wrapped up her first season of racing with the Big Green by taking third in the GS at NCAAs for her spot on the All-America First Team.
PERSONAL
Daughter of David and Martha Mangan has five siblings, including a twin brother William … competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics at Pyeongchang, South Korea, finishing ninth in the alpine team event … did not finish in the giant slalom … placed fourth in the Super-G at the 2018 FIS Junior World Ski Championships … started skiing at the age of two … enjoys biking and cliff diving.
