Coach Vogt on Chifcian: "We expect Katie to build upon her All-Ivy freshman year in which she proved herself as a clutch performer at the plate and in the outfield. She has the ability to hit with power and beat out a drag bunt. With the added offensive depth on our roster this year, we will look to take advantage of her speed. Defensively, Katie has great range. As a returning starter we will ask her to take on a vocal leadership role in the outfield." 2008: Missed just two game, playing in 36 for the Big Green...Finished second on the team in hitting with a .235 average...Had a .295 average in league games...Led the team with seven extra-base hits, two doubles, one triple and two home runs...Tops on the team with 16 runs scores...First for Dartmouth in RBIs with 14...Had six multiple-hit games with her best contest coming against Yale as she went 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBIs and two doubles...Came on late in the year, recording 14 hits in the final 12 games of the season. 2007: Played in all but one game despite battling nagging injuries all season..Had a .255 average with 24 hits...Had three doubles and two triples while tying for second on the team with four home runs...Had eight games in which she recorded multiple hits...Went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI against BU...Was 2-for-3 with two runs against Jacksonville and in a victory over Brown she was also 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI...Against Boston College she recorded a career-high six RBIs. 2006: Led team in average with .298...Selected first team All-Ivy...Had 31 hits with seven doubles and one home run with a .394 slugging percentage.
