Serafeim Eleftheriou joined Dartmouth Athletics as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in September 2023, working with various teams, including the club men's rugby team, track and field (sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, multis, throwers), and cross country.

Before joining Dartmouth as an assistant coach, he completed a five-month internship with the Big Green from January to May 2023. Prior to his time at Dartmouth, he completed a summer internship at Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning in 2022, where he worked with a variety of athletes and adult clients.

Eleftheriou graduated in May 2023 from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Physiology, focusing on strength and conditioning. During his studies, he was the lead author of an original research study titled "The Effects of Post Activation Potentiation on Counter Movement Jump Performance: A Comparison Between Dynamic and Isometric Back Squat in Division III Athletes."Â He also holds a Master of Science in Molecular and Applied Physiology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where his dissertation was a meta-analysis titled "High Intensity Interval Training in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease."

He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, he holds certifications in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).

Originally from Athens, Greece, Eleftheriou grew up playing soccer and basketball. He has lived in Lebanon, New Hampshire, since August 2020 with his wife, Ourania.
