Freshman Angela Zhang did something this past weekend that no woman at Dartmouth has done before. The Vancouver, British Columbia native shot an even par over three rounds at the FAU Winter Warmup for the women's golf team. Junior Chris Knight also had an historic night, scoring the 1,000th point of his career as the men's basketball team swept an Ivy home weekend against Cornell and Columbia

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Cape Air Athletes of the Week.

Angela Zhang Fr., Vancouver, British Columbia, Women's Golf

Zhang, a freshman from Vancouver, British Columbia, had a historic performance at the FAU Winter Warmup to kick off the spring season for women's golf. Over the three rounds, she shot even par (73-72-71—216) to finish third overall in the individual standings, but also produce the lowest score in program history. The rookie sank 12 birdies and 30 pars over the 54-hole tournament to lead Dartmouth to a fourth-place finish, including a final round of 293 (+5), the lowest single round for a Big Green team in relation to par ever. Between the fall and spring seasons thus far, Zhang has a stroke average of 75.1, second lowest on the team.
