HANOVER, N.H. -- Big Green freshman Jamie Wallace posted a one-over par 72 during the final round of the Dartmouth Invitational, finishing in a tie for fifth as the Big Green team was third.
Wallace opened with a 73 at Hanover Country Club during Saturday's round. His two-day total of 145 was five shots behind medalist Matt Burroughs, 68-72--140.
Binghamton, the first day leader, shot 590 with five golfers among the top 16. Hartford was second among 14 teams with 599, while Dartmouth was one shot back at 600.
Sophomore Matt Uretsky was in the top 10, finishing in a tie for ninth with 70-78--148.
Junior Chaki Kobayashi shot 77-78--155, junior Kenan Yount shot 83-76--159 and sophomore Steve Reyes posted 76-84--160 to account for Dartmouth's team score.
Individually, freshman Eric Crawford was 81-77-158; sophomore Charles Kettering 89-82--171; and freshman Chris Crawford 98-84--182.
On October 2-3, Dartmouth competes at the Army Invitational.
